The foundation of traditional Indian cuisine is rice and sauce, which, while frequently served with stewed meat or fish, may also be enjoyed with steamed or crunchy vegetables, which are very prevalent on Indian tables.
Indian food, like many other Asian cuisines, relies heavily on spices for flavor. Curry, chile, and coriander are frequently employed and may saturate cabbage, carrots, and other Indian-style veggies with flavor.
There is little question that eating a vegetarian diet is good for the body and the mind. Additionally, it is an acceptable ethical decision. However, this does not imply that a vegetarian's diet consists solely of raw vegetables and legumes.
