These shops were our go-to for groceries and familiar products that reminded us of home. Even when our family eventually moved to a more affluent part of the city, we continued to visit these ethnic shops weekly to buy the products we knew and loved.

As I grew older, I noticed that my friends from Caribbean, African, Latino, and Asian backgrounds shared similar experiences. Ethnic stores are incredibly fragmented across the country, and they lack an online presence. This is a significant problem for the ethnic community, which numbers in the tens of millions in the U.S. alone. Many of us are now professionals with busy lives and families, leaving us with little time to explore ethnic neighborhoods for the beloved products and delicacies we grew up with.

Recognizing this gap in the market, I envisioned a platform that could bring these ethnic products to a wider audience. StoresGo was born out of the desire to provide a global reach for local mom-and-pop shops, enabling them to succeed without the constraints of physical boundaries.
