Cooking Instructions: Stovetop: Bring 1/2 package (3 cups) and 1/2 cup water to boil. Cover and simmer 5 to 7 more minutes or until desired tenderness. Drain; season to taste. Note: When cooking larger amounts, add an extra 1/4 cup water and 2 minutes simmer time for each additional cup of vegetables. Microwave: Place 1/2 package (3 cups) and 2 tablespoons water in microwave-safe dish. Cover and microwave on high 8 to 10 minutes, stirring once, or until desired tenderness. Drain; season to taste. Microwaves vary; adjust times as needed. Note: When cooking larger amounts, add an extra 1 tablespoon water and 2 minutes cook time for each additional cup of vegetables. For food safety and quality, follow the cooking instructions: Before eating, cook thoroughly to at least 165 degrees F. Keep frozen until ready to cook. Do not thaw. Refrigerate leftovers. Serving Suggestions: Add to ramen noodles and cook as directed. Combine with cooked meat and add to fried rice. Layer in lasagna recipes and bake for recommended time. Stir vegetables into scalloped or au gratin potatoes; bake as directed. Keep frozen. If thawed, do not refreeze.
