Pan Fry: For Great Tasting Tacos
You will need
• 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
• 1 cup water
• 1 1/2 packets (1.25 oz.) Ortega® Taco Seasoning Mix
• Shredded lettuce & diced tomatoes
• Shredded cheese
• Ortega® Thick & Smooth Taco Sauce, any variety
• Ortega® Fire Roasted Diced Green Chiles
1. Brown beef; drain. Stir in water and seasoning mix. Heat until thickened, stirring often.
2. Remove taco shells from plastic container. Bake shells in preheated 350ºF oven 3 to 4 minutes or microwave on high 40 to 60 seconds. Do not prepare taco shells in toaster oven.
3. Fill taco shells with meat mixture and toppings. Store unused taco shells in airtight plastic bag or container.
