ENRICHED LONG GRAIN RICE [RICE, NIACIN, IRON (FERRIC ORTHOPHOSPHATE), THIAMIN (THIAMIN MONONITRATE), FOLIC ACID], YELLOW SEASONING (SALT, SUGAR, DEHYDRATED ONION, MALTODEXTRIN, TURMERIC [COLOR], DEHYDRATED GARLIC, CORN STARCH, YEAST EXTRACT, ANNATTO [COLOR], SPICES, SAFFRON [COLOR]).
Cooking Directions: On the Stove: Bring 3-1/2 cups of water and 2 tablespoons tub margarine (for more authentic flavor - use 2 tablespoons olive oil instead of margarine) to a boil in a medium saucepan. Stir in Mahatma rice mix. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Fluff lightly with fork and serve. In the Microwave: In a 3 quart microwave-safe dish, combine 3 cups hot water, 2 tablespoons tub margarine (for more authentic flavor - use 2 tablespoons olive oil instead of margarine), and Mahatma rice mix. Cover and microwave on high for 5 minutes. Reduce setting to 50% power and microwave for 17 minutes. Fluff lightly with fork and serve. If your microwave does not have variable power settings, follow your manufacturer's directions. Makes about 5 servings, 1 cup cooked each.
