Stove Top Cooking Instructions: 1. Boil water or milk and salt. 2. Stir in oats. 3. Cook about 1 minute over medium heat; stir occasionally. For creamier oatmeal. Combine oats and cold water before cooking. Microwave Cooking Instructions (one serving): 1. Combine water and milk, salt and oats in medium microwaveable bowl. 2. Microwave on high 1 to 2 minutes; stir before serving. 1 microwave; 1 cup water (or milk); 1/2 cup oats; Salt (optional) dash; 1-1/2 microwave; 1-1/2 cups water (or milk); 3/4 cup oats; Salt (optional) dash; 2 microwave; 1-3/4 cups water (or milk); 1 cup oats; 1/8 tsp Salt (optional).

Suggestion: Oats are a natural agricultural product despite the use of modern processing equipment, it is not always possible to remove all foreign material. Before cooking, sort oats to remove small stones or soil. Rinse under running water.
