LAY’S Sour Cream and Onion Flavor Chicken Chips
Description:
Give dinner a tasty twist with LAY’S Sour Cream and Onion Flavor Potato Chips.
Ingredients:
2 – 8 oz chicken breasts
½ cup flour
4 eggs, beaten
1 large bag LAY'S Sour Cream & Onion Flavored Potato Chips, crushed fine
Instructions:
1. Between 2 sheets of plastic wrap, pound chicken breast with a mallet to a ¼-inch thickness.
2. Remove the top layer of plastic wrap, and dust the flattened chicken breasts with flour.
3. Use a brush to lightly brush the egg onto the floured breasts until coated.
4. Place chicken breasts, egg side down, onto a baking sheet lined with a bed of crushed LAY'S chips.
5. Dust the bare side of the chicken breasts with flour, brush them with egg until coated, and then cover them with crushed LAY'S Sour Cream & Onion Flavored Potato Chips.
6. With a small rolling pin, roll the chip-covered chicken breasts to approximately ¼-inch thickness.
7. Using a round cookie cutter stamp out the chicken “chips.”
8. Place chicken chips on a sheet pan and bake at 325°F for 10 minutes or until an internal temperature reaches 165°F.
