Cough drops from Halls are my preferred brand since they consistently come in a variety of tasty flavors. Others that I've tasted in the past don't taste as delicious as halls. When you're ill, they actually take care of your throat and work pretty well. I really enjoyed the cherry flavor of these; it was delicious.
An overdose may occur if menthol cough drops are used excessively. Because cough drops only contain trace levels of menthol, it is quite improbable that someone could consume enough of them to cross this threshold. These lozenges that resemble candies can be calming and, at least momentarily, assist to soothe a cough.
