Large, mouthwatering pieces of chocolate chip cookie dough encircled by smooth vanilla ice cream. Although it seems so obvious now, this was innovative in 1984.
A straightforward idea gave rise to the cookie dough that you are familiar with today: what if you mixed bits of chocolate chip cookie dough with vanilla ice cream? That was the brilliant suggestion made by an anonymous person back when our first Scoop Shop opened in Burlington, Vermont, USA. This concept caught our attention since we used to have a bulletin board where people could suggest new flavours for Jerry and Ben to manufacture. Without delay, the employees of the Scoop Shop started preparing a batch of Cookie Dough. It was popular right away.
