Zatarain's Rice Pilaf saves weeknights. Whether you're servin' it up as a quick and filling rice side dish or adding chicken, beef or seafood to make it an easy meal, you know it's going to be loaded with great flavor. Pilaf is an ancient dish with variations found across Central Asia, the Middle East, India, Eastern Europe and the Caribbean. A hallmark of this classic side dish is distinct grains that are perfectly tender and infused with flavor. Zatarain's uses a long grain rice and orzo combination to achieve the perfect texture, seasoned with the vibrant and savory flavors of garlic, onion and bell pepper.

Stove Top Directions Cook: Mix 1-3/4 cups water, rice mix and 1 Tbsp. butter (optional) in 2-quart saucepan until well blended. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover. Simmer 25 minutes or until rice is tender. Enjoy: Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving. Pair: Great with grilled pork, chicken or fish.
