Since the city's start in 1737, it has seen revolutions and war as well as great industry. It's been the stage for powerful independence and creativity; and like our brown ale, its reliability has made it a favorite. We've been brewing this full-bodied version of an American Style Brown Ale since our start. Specialty malts bring flavors of sweet caramel, toasted nuts, coffee, and molasses, balanced by a steady but cautious hop dryness.
