Transition: When switching to Evolve Classic Dog Food, allow 7 to 10 days for the transition. Gradually feed increasing amounts of Evolve Classic Dog Food and decreasing amounts of your dog's previous food until feeding only Evolve Dog Food. Puppies: Weaning: Start puppies on Evolve Classic Dog Food moistened with warm water as they begin to nibble solid food. Growth: Keep Evolve available at all times. Recommended Adult Daily Feeding Guide: Dog's Weight: Up to 5 lbs: 3/4 cups per day. 10 lbs: 1-1/2 cups per day. 20 lbs: 2-1/4 cups per day. 30 lbs: 3 cups per day. 40 lbs: 3-1/2 cups. 60 lbs: 4-1/2 cups. 80 lbs: 5-1/ cups per day. 100 lbs: 6-1/2 cups. Using a standard 8 ounce measuring cup. Reproduction: Food consumption may vary throughout gestation and lactation. During gestation, feed the amount to maintain the weight of the pregnant female. During lactation, feed 3 to 4 times normal intake. Fresh Water: Keep fresh, clean water available for your pet at all times. Adjust food as required to maintain proper body weight and condition.
