Just add water for a classic dish. Cooking Directions: Stove Top: 1. Open contents of bean package, rinse and sort beans, place in medium sized pot. Add 5 cups of water. 2. Bring beans to a boil for 10 minutes, then stir in contents of seasoning packet. 3. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer, stirring occasionally for 1-1/2 hours or until beans are tender. Add water if needed, in 1 cup increments. Pressure Cooker: 1. Open contents of bean package, rinse and sort beans, place in pot. Add 2-1/2 cups of water. 2. Stir in contents of seasoning packet. 3. Cook on high pressure setting for 40 minutes. Allow pressure to release naturally. Stir well before serving.
