Fudge fish, caramel swirls, and gooey marshmallows on chocolate ice cream. It's tasty, but how did it get started? Ben had been thinking for years about why there was never a nice marshmallow ice cream. The majority of marshmallow efforts were flimsy. Ben recalls, "You can see the white streaks, but you can't taste them, feel them, or sense the true glorious marshmallowness of it all." Well, we proposed to the musical group Phish back in 1995 that we create a Phish flavour to honour our common Vermont, USA, heritage. Ben saw an opportunity to finally find a solution to the marshmallow dilemma as the partnership got underway. He and our flavour began with a foundation of decadent chocolate ice cream.
