Hibiscus flowers can be infused as a soothing, flavorful tea with a kick. Recommended ratio: 1 tbsp hibiscus for every 2 cups of water or for a larger amount, 1 cup of hibiscus flowers per quart of water. Steep for four to five minutes or longer. Remove or strain the remaining's petals. Add desired sweeteners or accents - such as a lemon or lime wedge, sugar or even a splash of fruit juice to taste. As a fun addition with complimentary flavor, stir with a cinnamon stick. Enjoy hot or cold.
