SophiaĀ® Israeli Pearl Couscous Plain. Israeli Couscous ia very versatile pearl pasta uniquely toasted in an open flame oven which allows it to absorb flavorful liquids while remaining al dente. It makes a perfect side dish to meat, poultry or fish, or as a main course mixed with vegetables. This all natural product contains no preservatives & coloring.
WHEAT FLOUR (CONTAINS GLUTEN).
Store in a cool and dry place. Cooking instructions: 2 Tbsp Olive oil. 1 Cup Israeli couscous. 1 1/2 - 2 Cups water or broth & salt to taste. Sautee dry couscous in olive oil for 1 minute. For al dente, add 1 1/2 c. liquid and salt and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. For softer texture, add additional liquid and continue cooking until desired tenderness.
