How Italians Cook their Pasta: Bring a pot of 2 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Add desired amount of dry pasta to the boiling water. (For the best texture, do not add pasta before water is at a full boil.). For al dente pasta, cook for 14-16 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once cooked to desired texture, drain and serve with your favorite sauce or recipe. Buon appetito!
