Cooking Directions: See Perfect Pasta Guide for quantities and cook times. Boil water (To ensure good taste and texture, be sure to use enough water when boiling and to rinse after draining). To add flavor and reduce stickiness, add salt to taste (optional). Add pasta to boiling water. Return to a boil, stirring frequently. Cook uncovered for 5-7 minutes or until desired tenderness. Immediately drain in colander and rinse briefly with warm water (To ensure good taste and texture, be sure to use enough water when boiling and to rinse after draining). Drain well and use as desired. Perfect Pasta Guide: Serving 2; 1/3 box pasta; 2 quarts water; 1 tsp. salt. Serving 3; 1/2 box pasta; 4 quarts water; 2 tsp. salt. Serving 6; Full box pasta; 6 quarts water; 1 tbsp. salt. Al dente 5 mins. firm 6 min. tender 7 min. Maintaining Perfect Pasta To keep cooked pasta fresh for later use, toss awith a small amount of olive oil, and refrigerate.
