Publix Confectioners Sugar (also known as powdered sugar) has been finely ground, so it dissolves quickly in liquid and never leaves a grainy texture. It's wonderful for any recipe calling for powdered sugar, especially for making smooth icings, frostings and candy. It's also good to use as cake decoration: Once your cake has cooled completely, use a fine-meshed sieve to shake a pretty white dusting on top. Or for a special touch, lay a paper doily on the cake before dusting it with the sugar. When the doily is removed, you'll have an impressive design.
