Nature's Path Steel Cut Oats Oatmeal

A re-sealable canister of organic steel cut oats. Steel Cut oats are whole oat groats – the entire bran, endosperm and germ, the three components that constitutes a whole grain. They have been cut up into small pieces and cook on the stove top in about 20-25 minutes and have a nice hearty texture. We believe it’s important to eat well, and that’s why our oat canisters are filled with only organic and non-GMO whole grain oats

Ingredients

WHOLE GRAIN STEEL CUT OATS*. *ORGANIC.

Directions

Stovetop:

1. Bring water to a boil. Stir oats in slowly.

2. When oatmeal begins to thicken (about 5 minutes), reduce heat. Simmer uncovered for about 25 minutes (or to desired consistency) stirring occasionally. Steel cut oats are best prepared on the stovetop. Microwaving steel cut oats isn’t recommended.
