Our Michael Angelo's Eggplant Parmesan features a homestyle freshly sliced eggplant lightly breaded then smothered in vine-ripened tomato sauce and three cheeses. Enjoy the homemade taste of this classic Italian recipe, made with wholesome simple ingredients and no preservatives! All of our recipes were handed down from our Nonna Foti, who grew up in Sicily. She didn't use fillers. She didn't use anything that wasn't available in her pantry... and neither do we.

Ingredients

TOMATOES (TOMATOES, SALT), EGGPLANT, MOZZARELLA CHEESE (PASTEURIZED MILK, CHEESE CULTURE, SALT, ENZYMES), WATER, TOMATOES, SOY OIL, BREADCRUMBS (WHEAT FLOUR, WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR, WHEY, SUGAR, SALT, SOYBEAN OIL, YEAST, SPICE, ONION POWDER, GARLIC POWDER, DEHYDRATED PARSLEY, PAPRIKA), EGG, ONIONS, WHEAT FLOUR (WHEAT FLOUR, MALTED BARLEY FLOUR), ROMANO CHEESE (PASTEURIZED COW'S MILK, CHEESE CULTURES, SALT, ENZYMES), SPICES, PARMESAN CHEESE (PASTEURIZED PART SKIM COW'S MILK, CHEESE CULTURES, SALT, ENZYMES), OLIVE OIL, SALT, GRANULATED GARLIC, GARLIC

Cooking Instructions: Do not thaw. Keep frozen until ready to use. For safety. Must be cooked to an internal temperature of 160 degrees F as measured by use of a food thermometer. Oven: Yes. Ovens take longer. But it tastes (and smells) better that way. 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Remove entree from carton. Leave film on tray. Do not vent. Place tray on a baking sheet. 2. Place baking sheet on center rack. Bake for 65 minutes. 3. Carefully remove baking sheet from oven. Tray will be hot. Remove film and let stand for 5 minutes. Caution: Product will be hot. Ovens vary; cooking time mix need to be adjusted, film may release during cooking. Do not use in convection oven. Microwave: Microwaves work. Too. But would Nonna approve? 1. Remove entree from carton. Leave film on tray, do not vent. Place tray on a microwave safe plate. 2. Place plate in microwave. Cook on 100% power for 10 minutes. Then cook additional 10 minutes on 50% power. 3. Carefully remove plate from microwave, tray will be hot. Remove film and let stand for 2 minutes. Caution: Product will be hot. Directions developed using an 1100 Watt microwave oven: cooking time may need to be adjusted. Film may release during cooking. Do not use in toaster oven.
