Use at holiday time to season roast turkey, stuffing and gravy, as well as in everyday meals like chicken pot pie and roasted vegetables. Our sage leaves are hand-picked for bright herb flavor. The silvery gray leaves are gently dried then lightly milled and sieved into a fluffy, almost cotton-like texture, a process known as rubbing. Traditionally, sage adds its warm taste and rich aroma to poultry, pork and game. Its distinctive piney-woody flavor also pairs well with butternut squash, mushrooms and potatoes, and is often featured in warm, comforting soups, stews and cheesy dishes.
