Quick Tip! For thinner pancakes add more water. For thicker pancakes add more mix. For fluffier pancakes and waffles use seltzer water. 4 inch pancakes or waffles: 5-7, Mix: 1 cup, Water or seltzer: 1/2 cup. 4 inch pancakes or waffles: 11-13, Mix: 2 cups, Water or seltzer: 1 cup. 4 inch pancakes or waffles: 17-18, Mix: 3 cups, Water or seltzer: 1-1/2 cups. 4 inch pancakes or waffles: 23-24, Mix: 4 cups, Water or seltzer: 2 cups. 4 inch pancakes or waffles: 25-26, Mix: Full box, Water or seltzer: 2-1/2 cups. Pancakes: Preheat greased griddle to 375 degrees - 400 degrees F (or use a nonstick pan over medium heat). In a bowl, gradually add water to mix with a whisk. Let mix sit while griddle is heating. Pour and cook until puffed and full of bubbles, about 1 minute each side. Serve hot. Waffles: Blend mix and water (or seltzer) with fork or wire whisk. For thinner batter add more water. Pour batter into center of a hot, lightly greased waffle iron. Cook as directed by waffle iron instructions or until steam slows and waffle is golden brown. Remove carefully. Serve hot. Do not eat raw mix or batter.
