Easy Cooking Diretions: Stovetop: Servings: 1; 1 cup water; 3 tbsp Farina; 1/8 tsp salt (optional). Servings: 2; 1 2/3 cups water; 1/3 cup Farina; 1/4 tsp salt (optional). Microwave: Servings: 1; 1 cup water; 3 tbsp Farina; 1/8 tsp salt (optional). For richer flavor, 1/2 of the water may be substituted with milk. Stovetop: heat water and salt to boiling. Stir in farina cereal gradually. Return to boiling while continuing to stir, then reduce heat to maintain a low boil. Cook 2 1/2 minutes or until thickened, stirring constantly. Serve hot with milk and your choice of toppings. Microwave: Stir all ingredients in a deep microwave-safe bowl. ½ tsp microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir. Microwave 1-2 minutes (because of differences in microwave ovens, cooking times may vary) more until cereal thickens; stir well every 30 seconds. Watch carefully to prevent boiling over. Stir. Let stand until desired consistency. Warning! When removing bowl from the microwave. Bowl may be hot! Protect hands
