Directions
Make the World's Best Oatmeal at Home: Bring water and salt to a boil. Add Extra Thick Rolled Oats, reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes (or longer for creamier oatmeal). Remove from heat and let stand for 2 minutes. Servings: 1 serving, 1/4 cup oats, 1/4 cup; Water: 3/4 cup; Salt: Pinch; Servings: 1 serving; Oats: 1/2 cup; Water: 1-1/2 cups; Salt: Pinch; Servings: 3 servings; Oats: 3/4 cup; Water: 2-1/4 cups; Salt: 1/4 tsp; Servings: 4 servings’ Oats: 1 cup: Water: 3 cups; Salt: 1/4 tsp. Steel cut oats in the slow cooker: Combine 4 cups water, 1 cup oats and 1/4 tsp salt in a 4-6 quart slow cooker. Cover with lid and cook on low for 7-8 hours or overnight, Makes 4 servings.
