Acqua Essenziale Cologne by Salvatore Ferragamo, Acqua Essenziale is a spicy, marine cologne for men that was launched by Salvatore Ferregamo in 2013. This modern fragrance opens up with top notes of mint and lemon leaf, which are closely followed by core notes of geranium, lavender, rosemary and a variety of sea notes to emphasize the aquatic nature of the accessory. Base notes include patchouli, labdanum, vetiver and musk to add an aromatic hint that really finishes up the formula nicely. Savatore Ferregamo himself is a renowned Italian accessory designed who specialized in the creation of men’s shoes. The designer moved to the United States to continue his work in 1914, and then returned to Italy in 1927 in order to perfect his craft. The founder passed away in 1960, but the brand continued to live on thanks to the strong presence he’d already created in the market. The brand’s first fragrance was launched in 1998.
