Description:
Otrivin Menthol Nasal Spray 0.1% is a non-prescription medicinal product for the treatment of adults and children over 12 years of age, which is a nasal decongestant for quick and effective unclogging of a stuffy nose. The innovative formula of Otrivin Menthol contains a complex of menthol and eucalyptol essential oils with a cooling effect, which create a pleasant and fresh feeling. Otrivin Menthol instantly unblocks the nose, relieves tension and makes breathing easier. The nasal spray is used to relieve nasal congestion caused by colds, hay fever or other allergic rhinitis, sinusitis. The effect of Otrivin Menthol begins within a few minutes and lasts up to 12 hours. Stop for the nose is very well tolerated even by patients with sensitive nasal mucosa. Composition:
What OTRIVIN MENTHOL 0.1% Nasal Spray
contains The active substance of OTRIVIN MENTHOL 0.1% Nasal Spray is xylometazoline hydrochloride. Each ml contains 1 mg xylometazoline hydrochloride.
The other ingredients are: sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium chloride, disodium edetate, levomenthol, cineol, sorbitol, macrogolglycerol hydroxystearate (Cremophor RH 40), purified water.

How to use OTRIVIN MENTHOL 0.1% Nasal Spray
Always use OTRIVIN MENTHOL 0.1% Nasal Spray exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
OTRIVIN MENTHOL 0.1% Nasal Spray is not recommended for use by children under 12 years of age.

The recommended dose is as follows:
OTRIVIN MENTHOL 0.1% Nasal Spray
Concentration Age Application
OTRIVIN MENTHOL 0.1% Nasal Spray Adults and children over 12 years of age 1 spray in each nostril 3 times a day. Do not exceed a maximum of 3 sprays per day in each nostril.
Blow your nose.
Remove the protective cap.
Before the first use of OTRIVIN MENTHOL 0.1% Nasal Spray, perform four puffs until a spray appears in the air. The pump will then remain normally charged during daily applications. If the spray does not disperse during the initial activation, you will need to repeat the initial number of pumps. Be very careful not to splash in eyes or mouth.
Hold the vial upright by placing the thumb at the base and the tip between the fingers.

Lean forward slightly and insert the tip into the nostril.
Press and at the same time inhale gently through the nose.
Repeat the procedure for the other nostril.
Clean and dry the tip before replacing the protective cap immediately after use. To avoid possible spread of infection, OTRIVIN MENTHOL 0.1% Nasal Spray should only be used by one patient.
If you have used more than the required dose of OTRIVIN MENTHOL 0.1% Nasal Spray
If you have accidentally taken a solid large amount of OTRIVIN MENTHOL 0.1% Nasal Spray, or in case of accidental ingestion, contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

If you forget to use OTRIVIN MENTHOL 0.1% Nasal Spray
Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
